At JewelsbySunaina, based in Chicago IL, we design and carefully select high-quality, confidence-inspiring jewelry pieces meant to provide a guilt-free shopping experience for inspiring women. We are a small business, sustainable, female-led brand with a strong emphasis on quality and elegance - employing local talent to support our communities.

We are hiring immediately for an exciting new division within the company, with immense growth potential; Ideally a jewelry and fashion lover to add to our passionate small team who wants flexibility and an easy-going environment. In this role, you will be responsible for leveraging your existing relationships, developing new ones with retail stores/regional boutiques to have them stock our jewlery in their stores or online marketplace. You will work closely with our COO to identify potential new customers and develop strategies for reaching out to them.

If you have a desire to be part of a small, entrepreneurial team working flexible hours or can work part-time along with your full-time job and if you are a self-motivated, results-oriented sales enthusiast with prior relationships who can grow our current list of Stockists/Retailers - this role is for you.

Responsibilities:

• Acquire new boutiques/retailers accounts that align with our brand aesthetic and demographic
• Build relationships with buyers at boutique/retail stores through social media, phone and email - be persistent and follow up
• Send linesheets and outreach to new accounts with new style updates
• Maintain open communication with clients to gain feedback, promote new products, and increase re-orders
• If needed, attend industry trade shows and events to network and find new opportunities for product distribution
• Process all POs and order confirmations and determine and provide accurate ETA’s for all accounts
• Provide weekly updates to COO sales activity and progress

Our Ideal Candidate

• Previous relationships with retailers, buyers
• You love new relationships and can initiate a conversation with strangers
• Previous wholesale sales experience in fashion industry, 2-year minimum
• You love jewelry
• Proficiency with Joor, Google Suite, strong Excel skills
• Quick response time, willingness to think critically, anticipate future chain of events and pivot plans seamlessly

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent

Location: Chicago, IL OR Remote
