About the Opportunity

We are seeking a hands-on Websites & Ecommerce Developer with strong Shopify Plus expertise to lead the development and optimization of our ecommerce and marketing websites (B2B and B2C). This role will be fully dedicated to Marketing’s websites and ecommerce projects while rolling up to IT. This role will manage major projects, including the migration from Salesforce-Commerce to a new B2B Shopify e-commerce store, and assist in Shopify PIM integration. You will work closely with Marketing, IT, external web development agencies, and cross-functional partners to deliver seamless, high-performing Shopify solutions. This is an excellent opportunity for a developer who loves solving problems, deploying new features, integrating applications, and delivering customer-facing digital experiences while growing into a leadership role.

What You’ll Do

1. Own the development, maintenance, and optimization of B2B and B2C websites on Shopify Plus.
2. Troubleshoot and resolve website and ecommerce issues quickly and effectively.
3. Build and deploy new Shopify features, customizations, and third-party integrations.
4. Collaborate daily with Marketing and IT teams to translate business requirements into scalable, high-quality solutions.
5. Partner with external development agencies and integration partners to coordinate projects, review code, and ensure on-time delivery.
6. Ensure websites meet standards for performance, SEO, accessibility (ADA/WCAG), and security.
7. Document processes, integrations, and technical implementations.
8. Use ClickUp to track and manage development tasks and projects.
9. Stay current on ecommerce and web development trends to recommend new solutions.

Other Qualifications & Considerations

1. 3–5 years of ecommerce and website development experience, Shopify is preferred
2. Direct, hands-on Shopify Plus development experience (Liquid, APIs, custom apps, third-party integrations).
3. Strong full-stack skills: Liquid, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (React/TypeScript and node.js)
4. Experience developing new Shopify features, troubleshooting issues, and integrating third-party apps.
5. Understanding of CMS platforms (October or similar).
6. Knowledge of CI/CD workflows and version control (Git).
7. Understanding of web security best practices (Cloudflare, CDN, hosting environments).
8. Solid understanding of SEO, analytics, and website performance optimization.
9. Knowledge of accessibility standards (ADA/WCAG).
10. Experience working cross-functionally with marketing, IT, and external partners.
11. Strong problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.
12. Interest in staying ahead of ecommerce and web development trends.

Preferred Skills:

1. Experience with PHP and Laravel is a Plus.
2. Experience with Klaviyo, Clerk.io, Yotpo, Recharge, and Zendesk.
3. Familiarity with Salesforce CRM and/or other ecommerce ecosystem integrations.
4. Experience working directly with external development agencies to manage projects and ensure quality.
5. Experience with ADA compliance tools and accessibility testing.
6. Exposure to business intelligence tools and advanced reporting/analytics.
7. Prior experience mentoring or supporting junior developers
