This position is part of a four person team in support of Drought.gov, a part of the National Integrated Drought Information System (NIDIS), located at National Centers for Environmental Information (NCEI). Drought.gov is the public face of NIDIS and serves as a clearinghouse for drought products, forecasts, services, and information at the state, regional, national, and global levels. The team is split with two front-end development positions and two back-end GIS / Python / development positions. The position can be onsite at any of the four NCEI locations, fully remote, or a combination of the two. Reimbursable travel is available for in person attendance at the annual planning meeting in either Asheville NC or Boulder CO.
