The Web Developer will serve as a part of the Senox marketing department to promote the company’s web presence by designing, developing and maintaining company websites and applications across multiple platforms. Primary focus will be on client-side design and development to maximize user experience and promote the company’s brand.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Design, develop and maintain our websites and applications.
2. Create new user-facing features and maintain existing ones, ensuring the best possible performance, quality and responsiveness of our web applications.
3. Implement responsive web design across devices (Desktop, mobile, tablets, and browsers.)
4. Collaborate with marketing staff and application developers to translate design concepts into fully functional websites and web applications.
5. Implement security and data protection measures to safeguard our web applications against potential threats.
6. Stay up-to-date with the latest web development trends, technologies and best practices, implementing improvements to enhance our applications.
7. Collaborate with IT staff to maintain application servers and install new frameworks.
8. Work with our online sales department to troubleshoot issues and address needs.
9. Assist Marketing team in various integrated communication and marketing activities.
10. Create and maintain documentation.
11. Report to Corporate headquarters daily. This is an in-office position.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS

1. 5+ years of experience developing websites and web based applications
2. Highly knowledgeable of web development fundamentals, including HTML5, CSS and Javascript
3. Strong proficiency with content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress, Hubspot and Drupal
4. Understanding of email marketing platforms (Mailchimp, Pardot, etc.)
5. Experience with e-commerce (Magento)
6. Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (XD, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.)
7. Version Control (Github)
8. Ability to administer and manage websites using hosting providers (Bluehost, Godaddy, Dreamhost, etc.)
9. Website Optimization (SEO, Speed, Accessibility, Security, etc.)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

1. Experience with connectivity, data, and website security principles
2. Experience with PHP
3. Relational Databases (SQL / MySQL) and Data Connectivity Management Systems (Iman)
4. Experience with an ERP system and API integrations
