General Description of Responsibilities:

The Web Developer (Django) is responsible for creating products and experiences that present Crossway content to the marketplace with truth, beauty, and excellence. This role will be primarily focused on web application development. Remote candidates are acceptable, though preference will be given to those who can meet periodically in Wheaton, IL.


The Web Developer (Django) will meet on a regular basis with the Director of Web Development for the purpose of collaboration, reviewing progress, and evaluating results, and will be prepared to provide updates on the status of assigned responsibilities.


Specific Responsibilities:

  1. Development of existing and future web products and experiences
  2. Related services and API development
  3. Web infrastructure maintenance
  4. Other duties as assigned


Position Requirements:

  1. Proficiency in web application development, including Python, Django, HTML, JavaScript, SQL, and Git
  2. Passion for excellence and attention to detail
  3. Organized, self-motivated, and good interpersonal skills
