Love Advertising is looking for a driven Web Developer to join our digital experience team. As a Web Developer, you’ll build and maintain client websites and digital campaigns in a fast-moving agency environment. You’ll translate design into clean, performant code, work across multiple projects at once, and stay curious about where the web is heading, including how AI is changing the way we build. You’ll also mentor junior developers and collaborate closely with design, strategy, and project management to deliver great work on time.

Note: Love Advertising has a hybrid work policy requiring weekly time in our physical office. This is not a remote position.

What You’ll Do

• Build, customize, and maintain websites on CMS platforms, primarily WordPress
• Turn design files from Figma/Photoshop into pixel-accurate, responsive, accessible front-end experiences
• Write clean, maintainable HTML, CSS, and JavaScript following current best practices
• Implement and support analytics and reporting through Google Tag Manager (GTM) and Google Analytics 4 (GA4)
• Use Git-based workflows, including branching, pull requests, and code review
• Mentor and support junior developers through code reviews, pairing programming, and knowledge sharing
• Collaborate across teams, including design, strategy, project management, and account services
• Keep up with emerging technologies, tools, and trends, including AI, and help evaluate how they can improve our work

What We’re Looking For

• 2+ years of professional experience in an agency or comparable client-service setting
• Strong command of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Solid understanding of web accessibility standards
• Experience working with CMS platforms such as WordPress or Craft CMS
• Familiarity with design tools like Figma and Photoshop, and comfort working from design handoffs
• Working knowledge of Git workflows
• Experience or interest in mentoring junior developers
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to cross-functional work

Nice to Have

• Experience with Timber for WordPress
• Custom animation experience using JavaScript libraries like GSAP
• Experience with AWS products such as S3 or Lightsail
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Experience with Sass, Webpack, Vite, and React
• Prior email development experience using MJML
