PURPOSE STATEMENT

The web developer position will assist in the backend and frontend development of Game One e-commerce, product customization, and other critical web-facing business applications. This role will involve collaborating closely with other web developers, the broader technology team, and other internal stakeholders. This highly cross-functional role requires strategic and tactical execution and an innovative “yes, we can” mindset. It also requires someone who is a creative problem solver and welcomes enabling change!

Job Functions

1. Designs, builds, and maintains internal web-based applications with modern technologies.
2. Develops and validates test routines to ensure application functionality and quality.
3. Creates and implements solutions for identified problems or bugs.
4. Regulates exposure to business stakeholders and executive management as well as other authorities.
5. Communicates with colleagues, managers and stakeholders daily.
6. Routinely participates in code reviews to ensure high-quality, maintainable code.

Education And Experience

1. 1-3+ years of job-related experience as a web or other developer; 2+ years preferred.
2. Hands on experience with modern HTML/CSS, JavaScript, and Node.js.
3. B.A. or B.S. in computer science, information technology, or related discipline preferred.
4. Knowledge of industry related programming languages and frameworks such as Tailwind CSS, Angular, RESTful API’s.
5. Experience integrating with ecommerce platforms such as Shopify, BigCommerce, etc., a plus.
