Digital Copy Writer

Part-Time (25 hours/week)

6 month contract (Starting end of June)

This Digital Copy Writer role is under the Earned Media SEO team at a Fortune 20 Retailer with a strong online presence. In this role, you will be working heavily with internal stakeholders and some external vendors/partners to execute enhancements to website copy that appears on the .com website, Google, and more. Overall, this role will enhance the SEO strategy to drive traffic from digital platforms.

Requirements:

1. 3+ years of work experience in a professional environment
2. Experience with SEO processes and strategy
3. Great communication skills and works collaboratively
4. Super detailed oriented and organized, ability to take full ownership of a process and project
5. Experience with Jira
6. Experience with a CMS platform
7. Fast learner/“go getter”
8. Team player
9. Proficient in Excel
10. Data Analysis & eCommerce experience preferred
11. Enterprise experience a plus

Day to Day:

1. Working on optimizing and finding SEO opportunity areas in webpages on various platforms
2. Writing copy
3. Utilization of Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, for data maintenance and analysis
4. Communicating with internal stakeholders frequently
5. Process Improvement mindset and ability to think outside the box
