We're looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Web Content & Operations Specialist to support the day-to-day operations of our website. You’ll play a key role in making sure web updates are executed efficiently, content requests are managed end-to-end, and internal teams have clear visibility into the web request process.
This is not a web development role. Instead, you'll focus on executing content updates and coordinating efforts with our external web development agency when technical work is required.
Team Structure & Support
While this role formally reports to the Digital Marketing Director, your day-to-day collaboration will be with the Senior Digital Manager, who will help prioritize your work and align web tasks with broader marketing goals.
You’ll never be on an island—you’ll have regular check-ins, clear direction, and access to both strategic guidance and logistical support, including a Web Project Manager for more complex web initiatives.
What You’ll Do
Manage Web Requests
- Monitor incoming web requests submitted via an internal form
- Review and update the request tracker: confirm details, assign status, and set expectations for timing
- Follow up with stakeholders if requests are missing critical info or assets
- Evaluate whether requests can be completed internally or require external development support
Execute Website Updates
- Use our CMS to publish content updates, new pages (based on existing templates), and campaign elements
- Ensure content is clean, accurate, and aligned with brand guidelines
- Troubleshoot basic issues or escalate to dev agency when technical limitations arise
Coordinate With External Agency (As Needed)
- Draft and submit development tickets for tasks requiring new components or backend capabilities
- Serve as the primary liaison: provide clear briefs, answer follow-ups, and track progress
- Ensure timelines and deliverables stay on track
Keep Teams in the Loop
- Attend and participate in key weekly meetings:
- Monday: Prioritization meeting with Sr. Digital Manager (you’ll review tracker and align on what gets done this week/next)
- Tuesday: All-Marketing meeting (you’ll give a quick status update and flag blockers or deadline shifts)
- Friday: Web sync with Sr. Digital Manager + Web Project Manager (focused on higher-scope requests like new pages)
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years of experience managing content updates within a CMS (e.g., WordPress, Drupal, Sitecore, etc.)
- A clear communicator who’s comfortable working cross-functionally and keeping stakeholders informed
- Highly organized and detail-obsessed—you’ll need to manage multiple web tasks and update a tracker accurately
- Able to triage and make decisions: what can be done internally vs. needs escalation
- Familiarity with basic HTML/CSS is a plus but not required
- Experience working with agencies or submitting development tickets is a bonus
Soft Skills That Matter
- Reliable – you follow through, meet deadlines, and escalate when needed
- Communicative – you're proactive about sharing updates, clarifying needs, and solving ambiguity
- Team-Oriented – you’ll work closely with digital and marketing partners and play a crucial supporting role
Contract Details
- Start: As soon as available
- Duration: Ongoing (initial 3-month term with possibility to extend)
- Hours: 20–30 hrs/week (flexible depending on your availability)
- Rate: Competitive, commensurate with experience
