A day in the life of a Web Application Developer may include:

  1. Ensuring exceptional code quality and thorough testing on every newly developed feature.
  2. Contributing to improving the quality and design of the existing code base.
  3. Troubleshooting, testing and maintaining the core product software and databases to ensure strong optimization and functionality.
  4. Contributing in all phases of the development lifecycle.
  5. Following and sharing knowledge amongst team with industry best practices.
  6. Having a passion for best design and coding practices with a desire to develop new and bold ideas.
  7. Maintaining a favorable and collaborative working relationship with team members in all departments to foster an environment of trust and mutual respect. Driving standards and best practices whenever possible and effectively fostering a culture of engagement.
  8. Enhancing the organization’s reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
  9. Being innovative and recommending new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of operations and services performed.
  10. Other duties, projects and alternate assignments as determined by business need.

This opportunity might be for you if you have:

  1. Associate degree in this field and/or equivalent experience (preferred).
  2. Minimum of 1 - 3 years of recent, relevant programming experience.
  3. Working knowledge of Linux operating system and Git version control (a plus).
  4. Knowledge of and proficiency with object-oriented programming concepts, PHP, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, SQL, and XML.
  5. Proficiency with W3C standards and best practices.
  6. Familiarity with MVC frameworks with Laravel Framework (required).
  7. Familiarity with Vue (preferred).
  8. Travel industry experience is a plus, but not required.

Occasional business travel, overnight stay may be required for training events and to visit Fox World Travel locations.

The estimated annual base pay range for this position starts between $65,000 and $105,000, less applicable withholdings and deductions, and is paid on a bi-weekly basis. The salary range provided represents our good faith estimate as to what our ideal candidates are likely to expect. We structure our offers within the range based on location, experience, education, industry knowledge, technical and communication skills, market conditions, and other factors that may prove relevant during the interview process.

Eligible positions may receive additional incentive or commission, as outlined in applicable program details.
