• Creating and maintaining quality standards, processes, and protocols
• Drafting and revising a quality control instruction manual
• Implementing an inspection program for inbound receiving
• Conducting regular inspections to ensure products or services meet quality requirements
• Collecting, analyzing, and reporting on quality data to identify trends and areas for improvement
• Proactively investigate and resolve quality issues, identifying root causes, and implementing corrective actions
• Training and supervising staff/checkers on quality control procedures
• Ensuring compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations
• Working with other departments, such as inventory control, to ensure quality standards are met
• Identifying opportunities for process improvement and implementing changes to enhance quality and efficiency
• Maintaining accurate records of inspections, tests, and other quality-related activities
• Conducting internal and external quality audits to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement
• Manage and facilitate returns and exchanges
• Attend meetings with senior management to report on and discuss quality control issues
• Reports directly to Process Manager
