1. Creating and maintaining quality standards, processes, and protocols
2. Drafting and revising a quality control instruction manual
3. Implementing an inspection program for inbound receiving
4. Conducting regular inspections to ensure products or services meet quality requirements
5. Collecting, analyzing, and reporting on quality data to identify trends and areas for improvement
6. Proactively investigate and resolve quality issues, identifying root causes, and implementing corrective actions
7. Training and supervising staff/checkers on quality control procedures
8. Ensuring compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations
9. Working with other departments, such as inventory control, to ensure quality standards are met
10. Identifying opportunities for process improvement and implementing changes to enhance quality and efficiency
11. Maintaining accurate records of inspections, tests, and other quality-related activities
12. Conducting internal and external quality audits to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement
13. Manage and facilitate returns and exchanges
14. Attend meetings with senior management to report on and discuss quality control issues
15. Reports directly to Process Manager
