Job Description:

The Manager Creative Production will manage and support the development of all production details for DSW product across all channels including marketing, social media, television, seasonal photography and video production. Works collaboratively and professionally with all business partners to create quality content to drive traffic and brand loyalty. Lead team of producers. Oversee all logistics of photoshoots including crew, locations, styling, shot lists, product deliveries, and team travel. Works with VP, Creative, Creative Ops and Finance partners to project, manage and account for seasonal and yearly budgets. Provide creative perspective and share experience to maintain the incredible chemistry and energy of the dynamic creative center of excellence within DBI.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage a steady flow of projects from conception to execution to deliver on the business strategy.
  • Maintain exceptional accountability for budget, process, and productions.
  • Manage execution of Big Ideas and business goals.
  • Evolve and implements new and stronger processes when needed.
  • Ensure quality and success through assessing risks, managing change requests that impact scope, resource planning, meeting budget, and timely completion of photoshoot deliverables.
  • Lead a fast paced, highly functional production team.
  • Manage relationships with photographers, producers, models, photo studio, and other partners to ensure that all studio shoots are organized, planned and efficiently executed, both on time and on budget.
  • Negotiate, as appropriate competitive rates for models, hairstylist, makeup-up artists, fashion stylist, prop stylists, photographers, and studios.
  • Ensure that contracts and photo usage rights are in place for models and outside talent.
  • Drive the organization's photo shoot budgeting, planning and preparation.
  • Maintain exceptional relationships with business partners as well as creative team.
  • Be solution oriented with marketing ops, legal and finance requirements.
  • Should be an excellent communicator and have the ability to align cross functional teams and external vendors.
  • Ability to plan, adjust and recommend excellence in budgeting across the creative center of excellence.
  • Stay current of new photo technologies and industry trend.
  • Be solution oriented, anticipate and resolve issues by utilizing appropriate resources.

Qualifications

Experience:

  • 10+ years-experience producing photo shoots in-studio for both on-figure, laydown and video production.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience as a project manager a plus.


Education:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in advertising, marketing, media production project management (or related field)
