We are growing our academic team and are seeking passionate, detail-oriented content creators to help us build the next generation of VCE learning materials.

Role Overview

The Content Creator is responsible for producing high-quality, curriculum-aligned learning resources across one or more VCE subjects. This includes SACs, practice exams, question banks, notes, worksheets, skill-builders, topic tests, extended-response tasks, and full learning booklets.

You will work closely with our lead educators and curriculum designers to ensure all materials meet Nova Scholars’ standards of clarity, difficulty, accuracy, and pedagogical value.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Resource Development

  1. Create original SACs fully aligned to the VCAA study design, with marking guides & sample responses.
  2. Develop practice exams that reflect VCAA format, difficulty, and structure.
  3. Build question banks (MCQ, short-answer, extended) across all topic areas.
  4. Produce comprehensive notes & summaries that explain concepts simply and clearly.
  5. Design topic tests, skill drills, exam revision booklets, and worksheets.
  6. Update resources based on curriculum changes, feedback, and new exam trends.

2. Quality & Accuracy

  1. Ensure all questions, solutions, and explanations are mathematically correct, legally sound, and economically accurate.
  2. Ensure alignment with the current VCAA study design

  4. Review and proofread your own work before submission.

  3. Economics Units 1–4
  4. Legal Studies Units 1–4

  2. Adapt resources based on student feedback and classroom performance.
  3. Contribute ideas for new resources, booklets, and exam-prep materials.

  1. Strong academic achievement in your subject area (97+ ATAR not required but highly valued).
  2. Deep familiarity with VCAA exam style, assessor expectations, past papers, and common student mistakes.
  3. Ability to write questions at varying difficulty — from foundational to exam-level challenge.

  2. Ability to break down complex ideas into step-by-step explanations.
