ANDERSEN is seeking an experienced Senior Quant UX researcher with a minimum of 3 years of corporate experience to join our team.
As a Quant UX Researcher, the ideal candidate should possess advanced skills in navigating complex and unstructured datasets, as well as running queries to identify patterns of customer behavior, and connecting them to gaps in customer experience and opportunities. Additionally, the candidate should be a skilled storyteller with the ability to effectively communicate insights and drive product change through data visualization and other means. Finally, the candidate should have a proven track record of working collaboratively with cross-functional teams in corporate environments, while closely collaborating with quant and qual UX researchers, data scientists, and PMs.
Candidate Requirements
- Years of Experience Required – +3 years experience required
- Degrees or certifications required – BA or MA/MS in Experimental Psychology, Cognitive Psychology, Human Factors, Human-Computer Interaction, Data Science, or a related field; or the equivalent in work experience.
- Disqualifiers - no exp big data set and no quant background exp
- Best vs. Average – someone who actually can start and finish the quant research of the UX.
- Performance Indicators – learning structures, deadlines and quality work

UX portfolio presentation: Candidates will be required to present their UX portfolio to demonstrate their skills in data scoping, analyzing, drawing insight, applying insight, and following up.
Querying test: Candidates will be tested on their level of querying skill.
Job Responsibilities:
- Analyzing the different datasets in Azure to identify user behavior and business opportunities with other Quant and Qual UX researchers.
- Collaborating with other researchers, data scientist, and PMs to discuss your findings and surface the best opportunities.
- Investigating telemetry questions around product and user behavior.
- Creating dashboards and visualizations to help researchers understand customer behavior.
Required Skills:
- Driving, organizing, and delivering quant UX Research
- Proficiency in Query Language (SQL, KQL, or Python)
- Experience with data visualization (Microsoft software preferred)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Basic ability to work independently and manage one’s time.
Beneficial Skills:
- Experience with Kusto Query language, Azure Data Explorer, and Power BI
- Experience in Cloud Computing (e.g. Azure, AWS, GCP)
- Experience with Data AI platform.
Education/Experience:
- BA or MA/MS in Experimental Psychology, Cognitive Psychology, Human Factors, Human-Computer Interaction, Data Science, or a related field; or the equivalent in work experience.
- 3+ years related experience required.
