We are seeking an experienced UI/UX Designer to design, develop, and support website development projects with a team of IT professionals. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in a similar role and working for website development in government agencies, Universities, or non-profits.

Responsibilities

1. Creating visually appealing and user-friendly website designs and layouts.
2. Conceptualize creative ideas, test and improve the design of websites.
3. Establish design guidelines, standards, and best practices.
4. Maintain the appearance of websites by enforcing content standards.
5. Design visual imagery for websites and ensure that they are in line with branding for clients.
6. Work with different content management systems (CMS).
7. Communicate design ideas using user flows, process flows, site maps, and wireframes.
8. Incorporate functionalities and features into websites.
9. Prepare design plans and present website structures when needed.

Skills and Qualifications

1. Minimum of 5 years’ work experience as a UI/UX Designer or in a similar role.
2. Certifications in digital, web design or in a related field
3. Must be able to demonstrate their design capabilities and experience.
4. Proficiency in CMS tools, especially Drupal or WordPress.
5. Must be fluent in English.
6. Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction.
7. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
8. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
9. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 per year
