Responsibilities

1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, UX designers, and back-end developers to translate business requirements into compelling front-end solutions.
2. Develop and maintain responsive web interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular, React, and Bootstrap to ensure optimal performance across all devices and platforms.
3. Implement user interface components with attention to usability, accessibility standards (Web accessibility), and information architecture best practices.
4. Create wireframes, prototypes, and mockups using tools like Adobe XD, Figma, InVision, Zeplin, and Axure to visualize design concepts and facilitate user research.
5. Conduct user research and usability testing (including A/B testing) to gather insights for continuous improvement of the user experience.
6. Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services for data exchange and enhanced functionality within web applications.
7. Apply design patterns and interaction design principles to develop intuitive user flows and layout designs that align with business goals.
8. Participate actively in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives to ensure timely delivery of features within the SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle).
9. Utilize analytics tools like Google Analytics 360, Adobe Analytics, or Omniture to monitor user engagement metrics and inform design decisions.
10. Maintain code quality through version control systems like Jira or Trello for task management while adhering to best practices in code review and documentation.
11. Support web accessibility compliance (WCAG standards) by implementing inclusive design techniques across all digital assets.

Qualifications

1. Proven experience in front-end development with a strong portfolio demonstrating responsive web design projects using HTML5, CSS3 (including SCSS/Less), JavaScript frameworks such as Angular and React.
2. Familiarity with React Express for building scalable single-page applications (SPAs).
3. Hands-on knowledge of UI/UX principles including interaction design, visual design, information architecture, wireframing, layout design, motion graphics (Adobe After Effects), and digital design tools like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Balsamiq, Sketch or Figma.
4. Experience working within an Agile environment utilizing SDLC methodologies for product development cycles.
5. Strong analysis skills with the ability to gather requirements through requirements gathering sessions and translate them into functional features.
6. Knowledge of web accessibility standards (WCAG), usability testing techniques (including A/B testing), and data visualization best practices for presenting complex data clearly.
7. Technical proficiency with APIs integration (RESTful APIs), SQL databases for data analysis tasks, WordPress or Drupal content management systems is a plus.
8. Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure for deploying front-end applications is advantageous.
9. Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
