The Manager, Transportation Methods leads the development and deployment of our driver and field supervisor training program focused on effective work methods including efficient and safe standards for successful job completion. These methods will include foodservice industry best practices and will encompass ergonomic methods to create an environment focused on reducing injuries. This role also leads process improvement projects across all segments supporting organizational initiatives to improve driver performance and retention through foundational training programs.
Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and perform any duty assigned to best serve the company.
Lead the data gathering, documentation, engineering standards and training of transportation best practices.
Assist in deployment of training transportation materials related to in-cab solutions, and emerging technology.
Identify training opportunities and inefficiencies leading to development of a training curriculum and assessment.
On-site and virtual training for transportation associates, supervisors, managers, and drivers for all direct and support job functions.
Lead the instructional design, methods, materials, and content delivery to include the training of transportation associates on Preferred Work Methods, and Processes. Training should incorporate the enterprise including all business segments with adjustment to accommodate unique requirements.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Travels up to 50% of the time. Must live near a major airport.

High School education or GED
4-6 years in a transportation role with
responsibility for training in delivery operation work methods and deploying training to our operating companies. Experience with Roadnet, Peoplenet, Omnitracs, POD solutions, and ERP. Solid financial acumen.
7+ years in a transportation role with
responsibility for designing training curriculum/materials in delivery operation work methods and deploy training to our operating companies. Experience with Roadnet, Peoplenet, Omnitracs, POD solutions, and ERP. Solid financial acumen.
Experience in designing curriculum/materials.
