Summary:

Our award-winning client is looking for a Trade Finance Operations to join their team.

Responsibilities:

• Process and/or approve Trade Finance transactions

• Involvement in structuring the Trade Finance deals by providing feedback to business teams in order to align to the company's risk appetite and guidelines.

• Assisting/process the trade and commercial payment operations of the Branch including LC negotiations and reimbursements processes.

• Assisting/processing the treasury back-office settlement operations for all Global Markets activities including the loan/credit administration of the Branch

• Assisting in Financial and Operations reports for internal and external stakeholders.

• Liaise with Risk, Global Markets, Finance, Compliance, other business units, and other company units to ensure smooth and efficient workflow.

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years experience in Trade Finance operations.

• Bachelor's degree and/or postgraduate degrees.

• Certified Documentary Credit Specialist (CDCS) by international Finance School.

• Experience in Global Banking operations with 24 hours services to support the company's Global operations.

• Flexible in working hours (may need to work odd hours) to support Asia operations

• Good communication skills, customer service oriented, and able to demonstrate strong team-working skills.

• Good interpersonal skills and ability to interact and collaborate with people at all levels.

• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

• Ability to implement initiatives to meet the Branch goals and targets.
