Job Overview
The E-commerce Operations Specialist is responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of the company’s e-commerce platforms, ensuring smooth operations, data-driven optimizations, and a seamless customer experience. This role includes managing product listings, handling promotions, analyzing sales performance, and coordinating with cross-functional teams such as warehousing, customer service, and marketing. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in expanding sales channels, enhancing online visibility, and driving business growth through strategic planning, promotion execution, and market analysis.
Responsibilities:
- Platform Expansion, Management, and Maintenance: Oversee the daily operations and maintenance of the company's e-commerce platforms (e.g., Temu, Shein), ensuring accuracy and timely updates of product information, inventory, pricing, etc. Assist in the development and expansion of new channels for the company.
- Promotion Planning and Execution: Design online promotion plans based on market demand and holidays, coordinating resources (such as design, customer service, and warehousing) to ensure smooth execution of campaigns, and increasing store traffic and conversion rates.
- Data Analysis and Optimization: Analyze sales data, user behavior, and traffic sources to identify issues and develop targeted optimization strategies, continuously improving product exposure, click-through rates, and conversion rates.
- Product Management and Optimization: Responsible for product listing, optimization, and maintenance. Write and enhance product descriptions, optimize titles, keywords, and more to improve product search rankings and user experience. Basic skills in Photoshop (PS) and video editing are required.
- Customer Service and Feedback: Handle customer inquiries, order issues, returns, and exchanges, promptly follow up on and resolve customer feedback to improve customer satisfaction and repeat purchase rates.
- Market Research and Competitor Analysis: Conduct regular market and competitor analysis, track industry trends, understand competitor movements, and optimize the company’s product positioning and pricing strategies.
- Inventory and Logistics Management: Collaborate with warehousing and logistics teams to ensure timely order processing and accurate inventory management. Plan replenishment and shipping efficiently, ensuring smooth logistics operations.
- Promotion Channel Management: Manage advertising and promotion efforts both inside and outside the e-commerce platform, set promotion budgets, and oversee execution to maximize the efficiency of marketing resources.
- Supplier and Partner Communication: Maintain good relationships with suppliers, logistics companies, and other partners to ensure smooth supply chain operations and the execution of sales plans.
- Other Duties: Complete other tasks assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, E-commerce, or a related field is preferred.
- 2-3 years of experience in e-commerce operations or a related field.
- Proven experience working with e-commerce platforms such as Temu, Shein, Amazon, or Shopify.
- Experience with data analysis and sales performance optimization in an e-commerce setting.
- Basic proficiency in Photoshop (PS) and video editing software.
