Massive Networks is a managed network service provider that is seeking dependable Tier 1 NOC Technicians to monitor our network and provide helpdesk support. Applicants must be able to work independently and provide quick and friendly support.

The responsibilities of Tier 1 NOC Technicians include:

• monitoring the network for outages
• notifying customers when outages are detected
• opening repair tickets with circuit providers and working those tickets to ensure timely repair
• taking hand-off of active issues from the last shift, and handing off ongoing issues to the next shift
• assisting customers with other service issues reported by telephone, email, and during in-person visits to the datacenter
• escalating internally when a Tier 2 or Tier 3 response is required
• updating network monitoring maps as needed to reflect new installations
• maintaining documentation of network configuration

The datacenter is staffed 24x7x365, and this entry-level position requires rotation from day to night shifts for intervals of 6 months. We will train the right individuals who demonstrate a strong aptitude for learning and a desire to gain new skills. Basic computer literacy is essential, and previous call center experience is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
