What You'll Do

As a Test Technician, you will apply your exceptional ability to assemble, test, and troubleshoot satellite antenna systems in our electronic assembly area of manufacturing. You will be reading mechanical and electronic drawings and schematics, you will work within our high-performance team in the field of Electronics, Aerospace, or equivalent. As a hands-on technician, you will operate various test equipment. Additional duties may be assigned.

This position will be a safety-sensitive position requiring a pre-employment drug and alcohol screen to participate in our FAA Drug and Alcohol prevention program.

The day-to-day

• Interpret mechanical drawings and schematics
• Ability to operate various test equipment such as Spectrum Analyzer, Network Analyzer, and Multimeter
• Ability to operate environmental chambers
• Mechanical & Electronic Assembly Skills
• RF & Electronically Troubleshooting skills
• Utilization of specialized test equipment
• Experience with Oracle ERP system
   

Work Shift: Thursday-Sunday 7:00am to 5:30pm

What You'll Need

• 3+ years of experience in assembly, test, and troubleshooting of electronic
• Must have the ability to operate various test equipment such as power supply/modems
• Must have the ability to operate automated test scripts and complete necessary paperwork
• Accomplished user of Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Associate’s degree in Electronics or equivalent experience
• US government position. US citizenship is required.
• FAA sensitive position. Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screening is required.

FAA safety sensitive

This is an FAA safety sensitive position, which requires participation in our Drug-Alcohol program, including pre-employment testing and random testing. It is an essential function of the position that the employee meets the safety requirements of the FAA.

Salary range

$19.47 - $30.94 / hourly
