Summary

The Tennis Club Maintenance Staff is to maintain daily the Raquet club facility in addition to the tennis and pickleball courts organized, cleaned, and ready for member play.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Daily brushing, raking, lining clay courts, and ensuring clay courts are properly cleaned and organized.
• Maintain, line painting and clean the grass courts.
• Maintain and clean hard tennis courts.
• Repairing tapes, nets, paint, and small repair work on maintenance equipment.
• Maintaining cleanliness of courts, court- yard area, and areas adjacent to tennis and pickleball courts.
• Clean the grounds surrounding courts, courtyard, clean landscape areas around the court, and minor landscape work around the facility.
• Responsible for reporting malfunctioning and/or damaged equipment to supervisor.
• Responsible for maintaining all equipment clean and in working order.
• Perform minor repairs on equipment throughout the Racquet Club Facility.
• Assist in storage of shop merchandise and receiving products.
• Assist director and pro-shop manager as needed to help the tennis program.
• Comply with all Fisher Island standards (i.e., grooming, conduct, policies, and procedures).

Education/Skills/Work Experience Required:

• High school diploma.
• Experience with clay, hard and grass court maintenance.
• Knowledge of racquet club, tennis equipment and handyman skills are a plus.
• Good communications skills are a plus.

Working Conditions Associated with Job:

• Outdoor, tennis and pickleball courts, equipment environment.
