Positions available with York County Parks and Recreation’s for their tennis programs. Back Creek Park programs operate April through October 31 on Monday - Friday evenings and select weekends. Ideal for adults looking for additional income and students 16 years of age or older. Must be friendly, cooperative and flexible. There will be training.
TENNIS ATTENDANTS
Responsible for interacting with patrons and customers of the tennis program at Back Creek Park, in addition to solving routine on-site problems that may occur. Responsible for providing program information, accepting registrations and payments, reserving tennis courts and monitoring their usage. In charge of daily tennis court set-up and cleanup, provides appropriate equipment to participants at lessons/leagues, and enforces rules and regulations of the park and tennis courts.
Criminal background check conducted prior to employment.
TENNIS ATTENDANTS - Must be physically able to operate a variety of automated office machines which include cash registers, adding machines, ball machines, riding and hand lawn mowers, edger, blowers, vacuums, string trimmers, rakes, hoes, shovels, etc. Must be able to operate a motor vehicle. Must be able to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. The position is rated for Medium Work.
