The Teller is responsible for accurately processing financial transactions and being an effective source of information for customers: in lobby, drive-thru window or by telephone. Provides friendly, professional, confidential and effective assistance to customers and company associates assuring a positive experience.

The Bank Teller:

• Accurately process deposits, withdrawals, and payments for consumer and business customers. Ensure all transactions are processed and the proper documentation is completed in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Maintains updated knowledge of Bank products and services. Identifies customer needs and actively suggests products that meet those needs, through effective cross-selling of the Bank's products and services. Makes referrals and assists in meeting branch goals.
• Balances cash drawer daily to assure accuracy in transactions and notifies supervisor regarding any differences immediately, in accordance with bank policy and procedure.
• Issues money orders/official checks, receives currency for and performs cash exchanges, processes the redemption of savings bonds, and cashes checks according to procedure.
• Participates in branch balancing, balances coin machine, and assists with ATM balancing and replenishment.
• Creates and sustains a clean, organized, pleasant work environment by maintaining a professional look appearance and attitude, positive outlook and behavior toward customers and co-workers.
