Nutanix is looking for a technical writer/illustrator to join our Technical Publications team and create best-in-class end-user and internal documentation (illustrations and text) for Nutanix server hardware.
We’re looking for a candidate who is able to photograph, illustrate, and describe server hardware. The successful candidate will be highly organized, able to work independently in a fast-paced environment, and able to produce multiple deliverables with frequent deadlines. Candidates should have the flexibility to learn new products and technologies quickly and to move from project to project as needed.
This position can be hybrid (minimum of 2 days per week in office; more as required by job duties) or fully on-premises and is based at Nutanix’s San Jose headquarters.
About The Team
Nutanix Technical Publications comprises more than 35 talented professionals in the US and India who work closely with geographically dispersed cross-functional partners including product managers, hardware, software, and support engineers, and other internal and external stakeholders to document Nutanix’s hardware, software, and solutions. We are part of the Nutanix Engineering organization. You’ll report to the Hardware Documentation Manager.

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between USD $ 97,120 and USD $ 192,960 per year.
However, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
