Become a Key Player as a Technical SEO

As a Technical SEO, you will drive site health and organic performance by aligning migrations and platform changes with SEO best practices. You’ll partner across content SEO, analytics, and engineering to execute data-informed improvements and experiments. This is a contract role through 05/29/2026 at 40 hours per week. Work model: Remote.

Here’s How You’ll Make an Impact on the Team

1. Support internal site migrations, ensuring alignment with SEO best practices throughout the process.
2. Monitor and analyze key SEO performance metrics, including organic traffic, keyword rankings, and Google Search Console data.
3. Track and optimize technical SEO health, including crawlability, indexation, and site error resolution (404s, 5xx, etc.).
4. Collaborate with the Technical SEO team to support research, experimentation, and implementation of new initiatives.
5. Partner with content SEO, analytics, and engineering teams to ensure cross-functional alignment and smooth execution of SEO strategies.
6. Prioritize and manage the SEO quarterly backlog, focusing on site architecture, schema markup, internal linking, Core Web Vitals, and AI-driven optimizations.

Here’s What You’ll Need to Be Successful in This Role

1. 3–5+ years in a similar technical SEO role.
2. Strong proficiency with SEO tools and analytics platforms such as Google Search Console, JIRA, and Ahrefs.
3. In-depth knowledge of on-page, technical, and off-page SEO strategies.
4. Proven track record collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
5. Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and recommendations.
6. Excellent communication and project management skills.
7. Bachelor’s degree in a related field.

Pay Range

$46.76 - $58.45/hour
