Responsibilities

As a Technical Sales and Marketing Specialist, your daily tasks will include:

Technical Sales

o Learn our large product line and assist customers, via email, in choosing the correct product for their application

o Provide stock and custom quotes

o Assist with product development and design

o Develop technical drawings and 3D models using SolidWorks

o Improve quoting system and processes

o Collaborate with lead engineers and marketing to develop new technical content for our website

Marketing

o Lead our content creation for all social media platforms

o Assist in developing compelling content for digital platforms, including website pages, blog articles, product descriptions and marketing campaigns

o Conduct SEO keyword research

o Utilize Google and Bing analytics, AdWords, and other web tools to track and analyze the performance of content and make data-driven optimizations.

Additional general office duties as needed, providing a backup and assistance to current admin

Qualifications

1. College degree preferred in engineering, business marketing, or related field
2. Experience in technical sales, previous experience with magnets a huge plus
3. Some mechanical aptitude
4. Strong writing and proofreading skills
5. Self-starter, ambitious, detail-oriented and willing to do various tasks
6. Social media and content creation a plus
7. Understanding of web design and SEO principles
8. Familiarity with Google and Bing analytics, AdWords, and other web tools.

Compensation

1. Pay: $65,000-$100,000/yr, plus bonus opportunities
2. Hours: 40 hours per week (Day Shift)
