Job Description

The Restock Team Lead directly interacts with the Restock Driver team, he/she is to ensure compliance of the procedure, and communicates goals, safety practices, and provides ongoing guidance and support to the employees as they complete their action plans. He/she will support to the Receiving supervisor and manager. The Restock team lead and all S&S Activewear employees must adhere to and enforce the guidelines presented in the S&S Activewear Employee Handbook.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Monitor Restock progress and process to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Process improvement participation.
  • Provide support and guidance in the Restock process / function.
  • Provide leadership to all department employees.
  • Conduct employees kick off meetings.
  • Preform regular safety walks and participate in safety meetings as needed.
  • Operate material handling equipment needed to perform primary role i.e., Forklift, Cherry Picker, Reach Truck, Stock Chaser (Cart), Pallet jack, Scanners, Tablets and Company WMS.
  • Perform and complete daily safety inspection check list for all equipment used.
  • Maintain productivity minimum requirements CPH, and work with a sense of urgency
  • Retrieve inventory from up-stock and floor locations and deliver to designated areas
  • Operate barcode scanner and use warehouse software
  • Act professionally and remain focused while working
  • Safely operate all warehouse equipment
  • Follow directions of leadership
  • Perform cleaning activities as required
  • Maintain a safe and clean warehouse
  • Maintain a positive attitude
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned by management

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age
  • High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
  • Supervisor experience of 2 years in a team-oriented workplace, preferred.
  • Good interpersonal relationship building and employee coaching and development skills.
  • Ability to coach and develop team members to achieve company goals.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center is preferred.
  • Must have strong attention to detail.
  • Able to learn systems, applications, and procedures quickly.
  • Good communication, excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Accurate with numbers and counting; attention to details.
  • Ability to operate warehouse equipment.
  • Can lift and carry up to 50lbs on occasion with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Ability to read, write, and understand the English language.
  • Willing to perform other duties as required
  • Must have the ability to work additional hours beyond scheduled shift; additional overtime hours will be required based on business needs.
  • Some experience in a team-oriented workplace, preferred.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft suite and email use.
  • System and Inventory Knowledge, preferred.

Physical Demands

In performing this job, the employee must stand and walk for an 8+ hour shift. Additionally, the position requires frequent grasping, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, and handling of items with hands and arms, up to 50 lbs. Moderate hand-eye coordination, near vision, far vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, adjusting focus and hearing.

Working Environment

The job will be performed entirely in the warehouse where conditions can range from warm to cool. The job will be performed around warehouse machines and equipment with a moderate level of noise. Employee must be able to work in a high-volume, high-demand environment while meeting strenuous customer deadlines. Employee must be able to change priorities or job duties as needed and interact with employees at all levels.
