- Seeking 1 Teaching Artist for summer program June 10th-August 2nd (8 weeks)

-Monday & Tuesday 2-4pm in Miami Gardens & Liberty City

-Students ages 4-17

Qualifications:

- Experience working with at risk students and diverse backgrounds

- Min. 5 years Teaching experience and Proficiency in specific art forms: either music, dance, art, etc.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to tailor lessons to meet the needs of diverse learners and student population

- Knowledge of childhood development and behavior management techniques

-knowledge of social emotional learning and life skills emphasis

Duties:

- Develop and implement engaging arts lessons that are centered on S.E.L. and mental health

- Utilize a variety of artistic techniques to enhance student learning

- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment

- Manage art supplies and maintain a well-organized workspace

- Collaborate with colleagues to integrate art across different subjects
