Duties

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards.
• Manage classroom behavior effectively, ensuring a safe and respectful learning environment.
• Assess student progress through standardized testing and other evaluation methods.
• Provide individualized support to students, including those with special education needs.
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student performance and development.
• Facilitate literacy education by incorporating reading and writing activities into daily lessons.
• Encourage physical education through active participation in health-related activities.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching strategies and share best practices.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and assessments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field; teaching certification preferred.
• Experience working with students in a classroom setting is essential.
• Familiarity with Montessori methods is a plus.
• Strong classroom management skills to maintain an effective learning environment.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with students, parents, and staff.
• Knowledge of special education practices is beneficial for supporting diverse learners.
• Experience in childcare settings will be considered an asset.
• A commitment to fostering literacy education among students.
