Duties

1. Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards.

3. Assess student progress through standardized testing and other evaluation methods.
4. Provide individualized support to students, including those with special education needs.
5. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student performance and development.
6. Facilitate literacy education by incorporating reading and writing activities into daily lessons.
7. Encourage physical education through active participation in health-related activities.
8. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching strategies and share best practices.
9. Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and assessments.

Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field; teaching certification preferred.
2. Experience working with students in a classroom setting is essential.
3. Familiarity with Montessori methods is a plus.
4. Strong classroom management skills to maintain an effective learning environment.
5. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with students, parents, and staff.
6. Knowledge of special education practices is beneficial for supporting diverse learners.
7. Experience in childcare settings will be considered an asset.
8. A commitment to fostering literacy education among students.
