ABOUT THE SOONA STYLIST ROLE

With a passion for aesthetics, the soona stylist has a creative eye and can create any desired look for our clients. The stylist helps the photographer determine the look and feel of a client’s shoot by selecting and placing decorative elements such as props, products, textiles, and furniture.

In addition to styling production sets, the stylist is also able to style fresh ingredients, beverages, cosmetics, clothes, appliances, and pets. The stylist can transform a client vision written in a shot list and turn it into reality with different creative elements.

AN IDEAL CANDIDATE CAN:

• Style client products and props.
• Style clothes and accessories on human and pet models.
• Style food or beverages with a variety of fresh ingredients.
• Style cosmetic or makeup products.
• Assemble and disassemble products or furniture
• Understand and translate client requests from a shot list.
• Collaborate with Photographers to set up product shots.
• Follow directions from Photographers, Production Sidekick, and soona clients.
• Communicate with the Scheduler throughout the scheduling and coordination process.
• Work closely with Photographers, Hair & Makeup Artists, and clients to produce a desired look.
• Maintain a positive and collaborative attitude and represent soona professionally.

 

SHOOTS & SCHEDULING

Stylists are available for 1 - 4 hour shoots. You will be required to maintain a calendar that reflects your ongoing styling availability for a 2 week scheduling period.There are no guaranteed hours at this time. We often schedule with 1 week or less advance notice.

WE CAN OFFER

stylist: $50 per hour
