Construction Recruitment Group are currently hiring for a Civil Project Manager in the Dallas Fort Worth area on behalf of our client - an award-winning ENR Top 500 Design Firm based throughout the US. This role comes with a highly competitive salary and benefits package.
Role Functions
- Analyze and prepare project designs, calculations and drawings for steel bridges; pre-cast, pre-stressed concrete bridges; cast-in-place flat slabs; and miscellaneous structures, with guidance provided on assigned tasks as required
- Effectively apply pre-established design templates
- Approach tasks with an open mindset; propose innovative solutions to design problems
- Prepare engineering reports and contract documents for review
- May assign, track, and review tasks of technicians or designers; technical discretion applied to first revision of technician work product
- Potential to serve as the Engineer-of-Record on assigned engineering tasks
- Responsible for managing timely completion of multiple assigned tasks
- Communicate effectively with team members, internal design groups, and external entities including clients, subconsultants, and relevant government agencies
- Effectively present proposed design solutions as part of internal project meetings; may attend and contribute to presentations with external parties
- Adhere to company marketing requirements by providing timely personal resume updates and participating in marketing campaigns
- Ensure timely completion of time sheets and expense reports
- Take ownership of personal career development by seeking and providing feedback, seizing opportunities to develop new skills, and setting and pursuing personal goals
- Contribute to the development of other team members through mentorship and modelling positive behaviors
