What You'll Do:

Do you love digital marketing and data? We have an exciting opportunity to join Principal! We're looking for a Strategist, Marketing Operations - Salesforce to assist with the design, development and implementation of marketing technology and marketing business processes that support key marketing initiatives and campaigns. You'll work in Salesforce CDP to build B2C audiences, and technically implement customer engagements in Salesforce Marketing Cloud. This is a highly collaborative and extremely detail-oriented role that serves as reference resource and authority on digital marketing standard methodologies and trends for the enterprise.


Here's how you will spend your day:

  • Configure, test, implement and optimize digital marketing campaigns through the use and coordination of Salesforce Customer Data Platform (CDP) and Marketing Cloud (SFMC).
  • Build customer segmentations using SQL.
  • Develop proofs-of-concept to validate solution feasibility. Design and document solutions to leverage automation, variable content, data-driven segmentation, and other sophisticated methods to achieve business goals.
  • Recommend new systems and outline workflow processes to increase the scalability and efficiency of the marketing organization.
  • Configure, test, implement and optimize digital marketing campaigns through the use, and coordination, of marketing automation, survey, social, web, virtual event and digital asset management technologies.
  • Consult and collaborate with internal clients to understand needs and identify marketing data solutions to accomplish business objectives.
  • Collaborate with peers on the Marketing Operations & Technology team using an agile marketing approach to solve problems and share information.

Who You Are:

  • You'll have a Bachelor’s degree or 8 years of work experience
  • You'll have 4+ years work experience with Salesforce CRM (Customer Relationship Management) and SFMC (Salesforce Marketing Cloud).
  • You'll have familiarity with CRM - building specific audiences and creating audiences based on marketing journeys.
  • You'll have familiarity with SFMC - engineering and deploying email journeys based on specific email audiences.
  • You'll have strong solid understanding of direct, content, digital, and general marketing methods
  • You'll have validated analytical skills, problem-solving and big-picture/conceptual skills
  • You'll have strong technical, financial services product and business processes competence
  • You'll have be able to implement effectively in a matrix environment
  • You'll have the ability to work with people at all levels and influence others without formal authority
  • You'll be able to build and maintain relationships and facilitate collaboration and communication
  • You'll demonstrate the ability to adopt and understand the change process and effectively guides other through change

Salary Range Information: Salary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. Salary Range: $77400 - $147600 / year Additional Information:

Location

This role will be remote or in the Des Moines corporate headquarters with a hybrid - 3 days a week in office schedule.
