We’re partnering with an infrastructure startup building a modern distributed data platform designed for cloud-native environments. The company is looking for senior technical leaders who can own complex systems end-to-end and help shape the architecture of a high-performance distributed platform.

This role is well suited to engineers with deep experience in Rust or modern C++, particularly those who have built databases, storage systems, or distributed infrastructure.

What You'll Work On:

1. Architecting and building core components of a distributed system written in Rust and modern C++
2. Designing systems that operate across cloud and distributed environments
3. Building and evolving data replication, synchronization, and storage layers
4. Driving improvements in performance, scalability, and reliability
5. Mentoring engineers and influencing architectural direction across the platform

What We're Looking For:

1. 8–12+ years of software engineering experience
2. Significant experience building distributed systems or data infrastructure
3. Strong proficiency in Rust or modern C++
4. Track record of designing and delivering high-performance infrastructure systems
5. Experience operating distributed systems in production at scale

Nice to Have:

1. Experience building databases, storage engines, or streaming systems
2. Experience with cloud-native infrastructure or Kubernetes
3. Background in developer infrastructure or platform engineering
4. Contributions to open-source infrastructure projects
