We’re partnering with an infrastructure startup building a modern distributed data platform designed for cloud-native environments. The company is looking for senior technical leaders who can own complex systems end-to-end and help shape the architecture of a high-performance distributed platform.

This role is well suited to engineers with deep experience in Rust or modern C++, particularly those who have built databases, storage systems, or distributed infrastructure.

What You'll Work On:

• Architecting and building core components of a distributed system written in Rust and modern C++
• Designing systems that operate across cloud and distributed environments
• Building and evolving data replication, synchronization, and storage layers
• Driving improvements in performance, scalability, and reliability
• Mentoring engineers and influencing architectural direction across the platform

What We're Looking For:

• 8–12+ years of software engineering experience
• Significant experience building distributed systems or data infrastructure
• Strong proficiency in Rust or modern C++
• Track record of designing and delivering high-performance infrastructure systems
• Experience operating distributed systems in production at scale

Nice to Have:

• Experience building databases, storage engines, or streaming systems
• Experience with cloud-native infrastructure or Kubernetes
• Background in developer infrastructure or platform engineering
• Contributions to open-source infrastructure projects
