Staff Product Designer

Rubiboo is a headhunting firm. We are collaborating with a YC-backed, high-growth AI startup building autonomous AI teammates—not assistants, but systems that independently execute workflows and continuously improve over time.

The company has raised significant funding from top-tier investors, reached multi-million ARR, and is already serving hundreds of customers globally. They are now entering a new phase of product expansion, pushing the boundaries of how humans interact with AI systems.

As part of this growth, they are looking to hire a Product Designer to help define the future of AI-native product experiences.

The Role

You will be the second Product Designer on the team, working closely with product, engineering, and leadership to design intuitive, high-impact user experiences for AI-driven products.

This is a highly hands-on role where you will contribute across the full design lifecycle—from early concepts and prototyping to final production-ready designs.

Key Responsibilities

Design and prototype new product features in close collaboration with product and engineering

Partner with engineering through implementation to ensure high-quality execution

Engage directly with customers to understand pain points and improve UX

Contribute to the long-term product vision and roadmap from a UX perspective

Evolve and maintain the design system

Create intuitive, high-quality user experiences for complex AI-driven workflows

Must-Have Requirements (in order of importance)

Strong product thinking with a focus on user outcomes

Exceptional attention to detail; ability to deliver production-ready designs

Experience designing end-to-end product experiences in Figma

Ability to work closely with engineering and understand technical constraints

Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-velocity environment

3+ years of product design experience, ideally in high-growth SaaS or startup environments

Nice to Have

Experience designing AI-native or highly technical products

Background in fast-scaling startups

Strong UX research and user interview experience

Experience contributing to or building design systems
