We are seeking a software engineer experienced in web and mobile technologies to contribute to the design and development of our next-generation platform. This is unique opportunity to join a small team and have a large impact on product success.

Pulsar Informatics provides real-time fatigue risk management tools to safety-centric and mission-critical workforces. We have pioneered research and development in fatigue risk assessment, supporting operational environments ranging from long haul trucking fleets to the International Space Station. We are building a team to scale our technology to address global markets across a range of industries.

Your role:

• Develop well-designed software components for our mobile app and web.
• Play a leadership role in software engineering for our cross-platform front end development
• Contribute to tooling and practices that enhance development-team productivity and code quality
• Work with product managers, designers, front end developers and data scientists to test and deliver features from the backend through to web, mobile and API front ends
• Ensure high quality deliverables by maintaining CI/CD pipelines and automated tests

Your skills and experience:

• Proven track record as a Software Engineer with design responsibilities
• Proficiency with modern web development technologies like ES6, Typescript, and frameworks like React/Vue/Svelte
• Experience with mobile app development, including cross platform technologies like Ionic.
• Proficiency designing data structures, data modeling and schema design, and API design
• Familiarity with backend back-end technologies (Golang, relational databases) a bonus
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Mathematics
• Experience with CI/CD and modern dev ops workflows
• Good written and oral communication skills
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively
