Job Responsibilities:

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior React Native Developer with 5+ years of application development experience and strong expertise in JavaScript and React. The ideal candidate is passionate about building high-quality, user-centric mobile applications and has a strong foundation in frontend development.

You will play a key role in modernizing our mobile platform by developing a new React Native application, reimplementing existing features, and continuously enhancing the product based on business needs.

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop and maintain a React Native mobile application to replace the existing app
2. Reimplement and modernize existing functionality with improved architecture and performance
3. Take ownership of major areas of the codebase, including:
4. Architectural decisions
5. Implementation patterns
6. Long-term maintainability
7. Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to:
8. Understand requirements
9. Refine user stories
10. Prioritize features
11. Design and implement scalable, high-quality UI/UX solutions
12. Integrate and work with RESTful APIs
13. Participate in Agile development processes, including:
14. Sprint planning
15. Daily stand-ups
16. Retrospectives
17. Follow best practices such as:
18. Test Driven Development (TDD)
19. Code reviews
20. Clean, maintainable code standards
21. Communicate proactively regarding:

23. Risks and blockers
24. Proposed solutions
25. Work effectively in a remote-first, collaborative environment

Required Skills & Qualifications

1. 5+ years of experience in application development
2. Strong proficiency in:
3. JavaScript
4. React / React Native
5. HTML & CSS
6. Experience building and maintaining production-grade mobile applications
7. Solid understanding of:
8. Modern React patterns (Hooks, state management)
9. Component-based architecture
10. Strong UI/UX thinking, with ability to:

13. Experience working with RESTful APIs
