Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Guidewire ClaimCenter Developer to support the design, development, and enhancement of enterprise insurance claims systems. This role focuses on solving complex business challenges through hands-on development, system integration, and technical leadership across the full software delivery lifecycle.

The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in Guidewire ClaimCenter, strong programming skills, and the ability to translate business requirements into scalable, high-quality technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Provide technical leadership on Guidewire ClaimCenter initiatives
2. Design, develop, test, debug, and document ClaimCenter applications and integrations
3. Architect and implement new system integrations and enhancements
4. Collaborate with IT leadership, project teams, and business stakeholders to deliver effective solutions
5. Act as a technical mentor and internal consultant for development teams
6. Support Agile delivery practices, including sprint planning, development, testing, and releases
7. Contribute technical expertise related to emerging technologies and platform enhancements
8. Design and deliver cost-effective, scalable solutions that align with business and customer needs

Required Qualifications

1. Strong hands-on experience with the Guidewire Insurance Suite, with a focus on ClaimCenter
2. Proficiency in Gosu and/or Java development
3. Proven ability to assess requirements and design new ClaimCenter integrations
4. Experience working in Agile development environments
5. Familiarity with version control and release management tools
6. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences

Preferred Qualifications

1. Experience with ClaimCenter version upgrades
2. Experience with automated testing frameworks (e.g., GUnit, Selenium, or similar tools)
3. Guidewire certifications
4. Experience with enterprise-scale insurance systems
