POSITION DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking a Sr Drupal Developer who will play a key role in the design, development, and maintenance of Drupal-based websites and applications. The ideal candidate is passionate about web development, stays up-to-date with industry trends, and possesses a deep understanding of Drupal best practices. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions for our content authors and publishers.

RESPONSIBILITES:

1. Utilize your Drupal expertise to design, develop, and maintain custom modules, themes, and features
2. Implement Drupal best practices for configuration, performance, and security
3. Support the administration, upgrade and maintenance of Drupal sites
4. Work with front-end developers, UX/UI designers, and project managers to deliver integrated solutions
5. Troubleshoot and promptly resolve technical issues
6. Conduct QA testing of new features to meet quality, performance and security requirements
7. Document application code, configurations, and technical processes; and participate in knowledge sharing

NON-TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:

1. Must be a U.S. Citizen.
2. Must be willing to work on Eastern Standard Time (EST) work hours.
3. Ability to pass a 7-year background check and obtain/maintain a U.S. Government Clearance.
4. Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
5. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
6. Must be able to prioritize and self-start.
7. Must be adaptable/flexible as priorities shift.
8. Must be enthusiastic and have passion for learning and constant improvement.
9. Must be open to collaboration, feedback and client asks.

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology (or a related field of study).
2. 7+ years of hands-on professional experience in PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
3. 5+ years of experience administering and upgrading Drupal sites.
4. Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git.
5. Strong understanding of web services and experience with API integrations.
6. Understanding of Section 508 compliance.
