For our client, we are seeking a Sr. Data Engineer to join the team of a leader in the Media space. This role will lead technical work focused on secure, reliable systems and risk-aware execution. You will partner with business, technical, and operational stakeholders to build reporting, surface trends, and translate analysis into action. The position offers the opportunity to strengthen data-driven execution and help teams focus on the metrics that matter most within a Media environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $137,100 – $254,700 annually

Responsibilities

1. Develop the overall data platform
2. Support internal and external customers with technical data work
3. Document processes and code for data systems
4. Interact directly with customers to fulfill data needs
5. Lead data loading, transformation, and extraction processes
6. Implement security controls such as access management and encryption
7. Model data across various sources and formats
8. 
   

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent experience
2. 7 years of experience in data engineering
3. Strong proficiency in SQL and Snowflake Data Cloud Platform
4. Experience with data loading, transformation, and extraction
5. Familiarity with data security features and data modeling
6. Proficient in at least one programming language (Python, Java, etc.)
7. Ability to work independently with minimal guidance
8.
