Official Job Description:
We’re seeking a proven Senior Business Development Representative (Sr BDR) to own outbound prospecting and pipeline generation across key accounts. This is a high-impact role for an experienced BDR who has already mastered sequencing, cold outreach, and qualification, and is ready to drive predictable top-of-funnel results for a high-performing sales organization.
You’ll take full ownership of outbound activity, from identifying ideal prospects to setting qualified meetings that convert. The ideal candidate knows how to navigate complex organizations, reach senior decision-makers, and create meaningful first conversations that translate into a pipeline.
Key Responsibilities
- Outbound Execution: Drive all outbound prospecting through high-quality, multi-channel outreach (LinkedIn, phone, email, and social).
- Pipeline Creation: Consistently generate and qualify meetings aligned to ICP and business priorities.
- Strategic Targeting: Research and segment accounts based on hiring trends, technology stack, and organizational structure.
- Qualification: Conduct discovery calls to validate business needs, budgets, and timelines before handoff.
- Process Optimization: Refine messaging, targeting, and automation workflows across outbound campaigns.
- CRM Hygiene: Maintain accurate records of all prospect interactions and activity in TrackerRMS (or CRM of record).
- Performance Visibility: Track and report weekly metrics - activity, meetings, conversion rates, and pipeline contribution.
- Collaboration: Partner closely with sales and marketing to improve campaign strategy, messaging, and lead flow.
- Market Awareness: Stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and staffing needs across IT, cloud, AI, and cybersecurity.
Qualifications
- 2–4 years of experience in outbound B2B prospecting or sales development (preferably in staffing, consulting, or SaaS).
- Proven track record of hitting and exceeding outbound activity and meeting quotas.
- Strong business acumen with experience targeting senior-level decision-makers (CIO, CTO, VP of Engineering, TA leadership).
- Proficiency with prospecting tools such as ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and Outreach or comparable platforms.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a focus on personalization and value-based messaging.
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and comfortable managing a fast-paced, metrics-driven workload.
Performance Metrics
- Weekly Activity: Calls, emails, and LinkedIn touches executed.
- Meetings Booked: Number of qualified meetings per week.
- Conversion Rates: Connect-to-meeting and meeting-to-opportunity ratios.
- Pipeline Impact: % contribution to total new pipeline generation.
