Insight Global is seeking a skilled SQL Developer to support the development, accuracy, and reliability of keyword search functionality within the Gridspace (GS) platform. This role is ideal for a detail‑oriented developer with a strong SQL background and prior experience in the property and casualty (P&C) insurance space. The individual will focus on building, testing, and validating advanced SQL queries used to analyze and extract insights from large volumes of text data, with a strong emphasis on quality management and assurance.

Responsibilities

1. Develop, optimize, and validate advanced SQL keyword queries to support automated quality checks and insight extraction from large text datasets.
2. Craft and execute test cases to verify the accuracy, performance, and reliability of SQL queries used for data retrieval, transformation, and reporting.
3. Analyze testing results to identify defects, trends, and opportunities for refinement.
4. Document test outcomes consistently and maintain a historical record of previously obtained data and results.
5. Apply quality standards and logical query‑building principles to real‑world insurance data scenarios within the Gridspace platform.

Qualifications

1. Strong SQL development experience, including advanced keyword search queries and relational database principles
2. Prior experience or familiarity with property and casualty (P&C) insurance terminology, processes, and regulations
3. Proven ability to analyze large volumes of text data to extract insights using keyword‑based SQL techniques
4. Experience documenting test results and maintaining detailed testing histories
