About Redwood

Redwood Literacy exists so that all students with literacy struggles can access their dreams. By cultivating hope and restoring confidence, we help students dramatically improve their literacy skills regardless of socio-economic background or learning differences.

We offer best-in-class intervention to students virtually during their school day and during after-school hours. Our bread-and-butter is twofold: We offer 1-1 and small group intervention, allowing us to service students at a fraction of the cost, and we use evidence-based curricula aligned with dyslexia best practices (Wilson Reading System®, UFLI, EBLI, Writing Our World®, and Chris Woodin Math).

Redwood is seeking a passionate and skilled Intervention Specialist to join our team and provide high-quality, virtual academic support to students with diverse learning needs. This flexible, contractor-based role offers the opportunity to deliver evidence-based instruction in small group settings, track and achieve IEP goals, and collaborate with schools and families to make meaningful progress for students. With customizable caseloads and schedules, instructors will work with curriculum fidelity, contribute to student success using structured literacy programs, and grow professionally through our robust training and certification pathways. If you are a certified Special Education Teacher who excels at virtual behavior management, values cross-cultural competence, and is committed to empowering students, we invite you to help us transform lives through education at Redwood.
