Solutions Engineer / Solutions Architect (Healthcare SaaS)

A fast-growing healthcare technology company focused on improving how medical images and records are shared across providers, patients, and third parties is seeking a Solutions Engineer.

The software platform integrates with major PACS, RIS, and EHR systems and is used by hospitals, health systems, and imaging centers nationwide.

This role sits at the intersection of sales, product, implementation, and QA. It is highly cross-functional and hands-on, with direct impact on both pre-sales and post-sales success. The role is a critical function in how the company sells, delivers, and scales its product.

We are seeking candidates with experience working with radiology or imaging workflows, along with exposure to AI-driven products or automation tools. Prior experience in early-stage or high-growth environments is strongly preferred, along with the ability to bridge technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Solutions Engineer Responsibilities

Pre-Sales Support

- Partner with sales on technical discovery and solution design

- Lead or support product demos tailored to customer workflows

- Translate technical capabilities into business value for clinical, IT, and operational stakeholders

Solution Design & Customer Environments

- Design and validate solutions across complex healthcare environments

- Work with customer IT teams on integrations with EHR, RIS, PACS, and other systems

- Ensure proposed solutions align with real-world workflows and constraints

Post-Sales Validation / QA

- Validate that implementations function as sold and meet customer expectations

- Test workflows in live or semi-live customer environments

- Identify gaps between expected and actual system behavior and work cross-functionally to resolve

AI-Driven Testing & Process Improvement

- Leverage AI tools to simulate and test product behavior where possible

- Identify opportunities to automate QA and improve scalability of testing processes

- Step in manually when environments cannot be replicated through simulation

Product & Implementation Support

- Act as a product expert across internal teams

- Provide feedback to product and engineering based on real customer usage

- Support implementation and customer success teams on complex technical issues

Solutions Engineer Requirements

- Experience in a Solutions Engineer, Solutions Architect, Implementation Engineer, or similar role

- Background in healthcare technology, with exposure to PACS, RIS, and/or EHR systems

- Understanding of imaging workflows or interoperability

- Strong understanding of integration concepts (APIs, HL7, FHIR, etc.)

- Comfortable working directly with sales teams and customers

- Ability to operate in ambiguous, fast-moving environments

- Hands-on and resourceful, with the ability to figure things out without a defined playbook
