POSITION SUMMARY

The Solutions Architect - Financial Services will serve as a subject matter expert, providing technical guidance and consultation to direct sales teams and customers on the design, customization, and implementation of complex technical products and services. The Solutions Architect must have experience providing technical sales in the financial services industry (banks, fintechs, insurance companies and asset management firms). The Solutions Architect is customer-focused and will translate complex technical solutions into clear business value.

LOCATION: We are looking for candidates in the BOSTON / NEW YORK / East Coast region.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Act as a strategic technical advisor, partnering closely with the sales team to identify, qualify, and develop high-value technical opportunities specifically within Financial Services accounts. This includes deeply engaging with prospects and customers to understand their unique technical challenges, business objectives, and regulatory constraints, providing expert technical guidance throughout the entire sales cycle.
2. Partner with the sales team to identify and qualify technical opportunities within existing and prospective accounts. Will engage prospects and customers, providing technical expertise throughout the sales cycle.
3. Develop and deliver highly accurate, professional, and compelling technical responses to RFPs, RFIs, and other technical inquiries from Financial Services clients, clearly demonstrating solution fit and business value within their specific operational context.
4. Translate complex technical requirements and feedback from Financial Services clients into actionable insights for product and engineering teams, actively influencing product roadmap development to ensure alignment with industry trends and evolving needs.
5. Serve as a technical liaison between customers, internal teams, and vendor partners.
6. Support post-sales teams with knowledge transfer and solution validation during deployment.

REQUIREMENTS

1. Bachelor's degree in a technical field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology) or equivalent experience.
2. 7+ years of experience as a Sales Engineer, Solutions Architect, or similar role, with a significant portion dedicated to providing technical sales guidance and consultation within the Financial Services industry.
3. Strong technical background in AI/ML infrastructure, GPU architectures, high performance storage, networking and cloud infrastructure with proven experience applying these technologies to solve specific business problems within Financial Services .
4. Exceptional communication and presentation skills. Must have a proven ability to simplify complex technical concepts and articulate clear business value propositions to diverse audiences, ranging from technical architects to C-level executives within Financial Services organizations.
5. Self-starter with a consultative mindset and strong customer focus.
6. Proficient in CRM software (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.).

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

The base salary range for the Solutions Architect is $128,000 to $172,000. This pay range reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay range for this job for the location for which it has been posted. Compensation decisions are dependent on several factors including, but not limited to, an individual’s qualifications, location where the role is to be performed, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
