Position: Tier 1 Software Support Specialist (Yardi Focus)

Location: Remote

Contract Length: Minimum 1 month

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Tier 1 Technical Support Specialist with a focus on Yardi software to join our remote team.

Job Summary:

As a Tier 1 Technical Support Specialist, you will be the first point of contact for users experiencing technical issues with Yardi software. You will provide initial support, troubleshoot basic problems, and escalate more complex issues to higher-level support as needed. Your goal is to ensure our team can effectively use Yardi to manage our properties and serve our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. First-Line Support: Respond to user inquiries and provide initial technical support for Yardi software.
  2. Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve basic software issues, guiding users through step-by-step solutions.
  3. Ticket Management: Log and track support tickets, ensuring timely resolution and communication with users.
  4. Escalation: Identify and escalate complex issues to Tier 2 or Tier 3 support teams as necessary.
  5. User Assistance: Assist users with basic tasks and functions within Yardi, ensuring they can effectively utilize the software.
  6. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of support interactions and create documentation for common issues and solutions.

Qualifications:

  1. Experience: 1-3 years of experience in a technical support role, preferably with a focus on Yardi software.
  2. Technical Skills: Basic understanding of Yardi software is essential. Familiarity with other property management software is a plus.
  3. Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to provide clear and concise solutions.
  4. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
  5. Customer Service: A customer-centric approach with a commitment to providing exceptional support and service.
  6. Remote Work: Ability to work independently in a remote environment, managing time and tasks effectively.

Compensation: $25-30/hr
