Job Description:

U.S. Bank is seeking the position of Software Engineer - iOS in Minneapolis, MN.


Essential Responsibilities:

The Software Engineer – iOS will be responsible for designing and developing iOS Native mobile applications for iPhone and iPad using Objective C and Swift interoperability in a highly configured distributed environment. This position will implement user interfaces, features, and enhancements using UIKIt, SpriteKit, SwiftUI and related tools for captivating and interactive visual experiences. Additional responsibilities include the following: designing intents to expose app features to the system; conducting thorough unit testing using XCTest or similar frameworks (e.g., XCUITest) to ensure high-quality, bug-free code; integrating push notifications using Apple Push Notification service (APNs) to provide real-time updates and user engagement; performing work using the following skills/tools/technologies: ID Verification ACURA SDK for digital key for customer id verification; building apps for GraphQL and RestAPI integration on iOS applications; creating biometric authentication features such as Face ID and TouchID; enhancing and componentizing stand-alone features using cocopods or Swift Package Manager; building reactive web pages with support for theming for easy portability with multiple applications; defining technical system designs and architectural solutions by suggesting innovative advanced technologies to the product teams and providing documentations and UML diagrams to stakeholders; providing technical solutions to the team during development process; delivering and implanting projects as per schedule; ensuring compliance to quality standards; collaborating with technology leads in the organization in preparing /

reviewing the high and low-level technology designs; creating chat interface on mobile by utilizing cloud micro services and websockets; overseeing the delivery and implementation of the technical solution as per the schedule, ensuring compliance to quality standards; monitoring key result areas and metrics on projects and deploying features through A/B testing approach;

engineering test cases design or strategies for design verification and product validation; building and developing easy and user-friendly interfaces for mobile banking through voice and text commands and solutions like pay with Zelle, customer support, account transitions, general help topics and queries, interaction with live agent and systems , etc. Position may allow working from home within commuting distance of worksite location. Basic Qualifications:

Requires a Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Applied Computer Science or Computer Science plus 3 years of experience as a Software Developer, Software Engineer, iOS Mobile Application Developer, System Analyst, iOS Native Application Developer, Software Architect, or related. Will accept a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Applied Computer Science or Computer Science plus 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience as a Software Developer, Software Engineer, iOS Mobile Application Developer, System Analyst, iOS Native Application Developer, Software Architect, or related in lieu of a Master’s degree plus 3 years of experience.


Required Skills/Experience:

Must possess 3 years of experience with Master’s or 5 years of experience with Bachelor’s with each of the following: developing iOS mobile applications using objective-c, Java, and iOS sdk in a distributed networking environment; web application design and development using HTML5, JQuery and Java servlets; maintaining scalable applications for different platforms and developing applications for various platforms from iPad to iPhone; utilizing Oracle ADF Mobile Framework Development for SAP database; developing requirements into prototypes for iOS Native Applications; developing POC’s for iOS Native applications; architecting iOS mobile applications; Xcode; Eclipse; developing solutions and unit testing by writing Swift/Objective-c code; and data security and encryption. Position may allow working from home within commuting distance of worksite location.


Base pay range may vary if an offer is made for work in a different location. Pay Range: $115,339 -$155,000 . (#LI-NDI #LI-DNI #LI-DNP #DE-DNP).
