For our client, we are seeking a Software Engineer AI Developer Experience to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space. This role will lead work at the intersection of data, AI-enabled capabilities, and scalable technology delivery. You will work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. The position offers the opportunity to influence architecture, execution quality, and the technology capabilities that enable long-term growth within a technology-driven environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $160,000 – $200,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain engineering tools to enhance builder flow company-wide
• Support adoption of AI coding tools through documentation and automation
• Contribute to the development of internal agents and their operations
• Implement developer workflows with guardrails for safe tooling adoption
• Collaborate with teams to identify AI solutions that can enhance their processes
• Measure and analyze feedback to quantify the impact of tooling and guide improvements
• Maintain clear documentation and training materials to assist builders

Qualifications

• Solid software engineering fundamentals and production-quality internal platform experience
• Familiarity with agentic coding tools like Codex and Claude Code
• Proficient in programming languages used at the company: Go, TypeScript/JavaScript, Python, or Java
• Experience in building workflow automation or internal tools such as CLI tools and cloud automation
• Good judgment balancing standardization and flexibility in engineering solutions
• Comfortable working cross-functionally with various teams and translating their needs into solutions
• Ability to leverage data and feedback for prioritization and measuring impact
