In This Role You Will:

1. Work on an Agency Management System relied on daily by thousands of customers
2. Develop web applications written in PHP, work with Kubernetes in AWS, support a MySQL DB, and more
3. Test, provide feedback, review customer issues, document, troubleshoot our applications, and take part in the On-Call Rotation
4. Help make a variety of technical decisions as well as ensure that the technical direction of the product supports the business needs
5. Mentor and train other developers on the team
6. Participate in product discovery and research to develop a deep understanding of customer problems and needs
7. Contribute to the continuous improvement of the product development lifecycle

Technical Expertise

1. 3+ years of experience developing scalable web applications.
2. 2+ years of experience with PHP in a production environment.
3. Distinguished understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), SOLID principles, and application of design patterns to promote maintainability and extensibility.
4. Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), with experience in planning, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance phases.
5. Solid understanding of relational databases such as MySQL, including query optimization and schema design.Collaboration
6. Willingness to give and receive feedback constructively to improve team performance.
7. Experience working in Agile or cross-functional teams, collaborating with product managers, designers, and QA.

1. Working knowledge of containerization using Docker, and experience deploying Helm and managing services on Kubernetes.

4. Hands-on experience with Laravel or similar PHP frameworks.
5. Familiarity with OWASP security practices and designing secure systems.
6. Experience implementing and managing 2-legged and 3-legged authentication patterns (e.g., OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, Backend for Frontend - BFF).
