Position Summary

We are seeking a full-time, remote Software Engineer with strong expertise in

JavaScript/TypeScript, ideally with hands-on experience in NestJS (backend) and

Next.js (frontend).

The ideal candidate is passionate about building clean, scalable software and embraces

the use of AI and Agentic AI frameworks to enhance productivity, streamline workflows,

and elevate development practices. Engineers are encouraged to leverage AI tools as a

natural part of their daily development lifecycle, including AI-enabled IDEs such as

Cursor, Windsurf, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or others.

This role offers the opportunity to work on mission-driven projects, collaborate with

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and maintain web applications using JavaScript/TypeScript (primarystack: NestJS + Next.js).
2. Design and implement AI-driven solutions, leveraging Agentic AI frameworks and
3. tools to improve developer efficiency and product capabilities.
4. Collaborate with QA, DevOps, and project management teams to deliver high-quality, secure, and maintainable solutions.
5. Implement new features, enhancements, and integrations for both internal andclient-facing applications.
6. Write clean, efficient, well-documented code following industry best practices.
7. Build and consume RESTful and GraphQL APIs, support third-party system
8. integrations.
9. Participate in architectural discussions, code reviews, and testing efforts.
10. Debug and troubleshoot application issues across environments and devices.
11. Continuously improve application performance, scalability, and maintainability.
12. Stay up to date on emerging technologies and proactively evaluate AI tools,
13. libraries, and frameworks for adoption.
14. Contribute to systems that use PHP 7+ OOP frameworks (e.g., Laravel
15. or Symfony).

Skills

1. JavaScript/TypeScript expertise with proven experience in NestJS (backend) andNext.js (frontend).
2. Solid knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, ES6+; experience with preprocessors(SASS/Less) a plus.
3. Familiarity with SQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases(Redis, MongoDB).
4. Experience integrating with RESTful APIs and working with GraphQL.
5. Demonstrated ability to use AI tools (e.g., Windsurf, Cursor, GitHub Copilot,Claude Code, custom agents) to accelerate development.
6. Familiarity with LMS platforms (Moodle or others) is a plus.
7. Comfortable with Git and Agile development environments.
8. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work
9. independently.
10. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
11. A continuous learner mindset, willing to adopt new tools, techniques, and AI
12. practices to stay ahead.
13. Preferred- Knowledge of PHP 7+ and OOP principles, ideally with frameworks likeLaravel or Symfony.
